Series 1953 $2 Red Seal Legal Tender Note Crisp Uncirculated (CU) Condition

Series 1953 $2 Red Seal Notes were printed in large quantities and were widely used until they were discontinued in the 1960s. Crisp Uncirculated condition means their quality is in the most excellent condition and are harder to come by. On the face of the design, the a portrait of President Thomas Jefferson can be found with an image of his Virginal home, Monticello on the back. These 1963 $2 Red Seal notes do not include the Motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" on the back. The Series 1953 through 1953-C will vary and will be our choice limited by what we have on hand at any given time.
